Saturday, September 24, 2022″Chikashah Saya” – which translates to “I am Chicksaw”1:30 pmSt. Charles County Heritage MuseumIn an effort to offer more presentations to the general public, The Society is partnering with the St. Charles County Heritage Museum to bring you a special September speaker. in celebration of Missouri Archaeology Month.Donna Jean Rausch-Harding is Superintendent of Felix Valle State Historic Site in Saint Genevieve, Missouri. She is also a member of the Chicksaw Nation and has a Masters in Anthropology/Archaeology with emphasis Southeasten Indians.Her talk “Chikashah Saya” – which translates to “I am Chicksaw” will be presented at the St. Charles County Heritage Museum on September 24th at 1:30pm. She will have a 45-minute presentation and will take questions for the rest of the hour.
