St. Charles County Recorder of Deeds Mary Dempsey and Assistant Assessor Travis Welge will go over different databases and resources within these departments to find past family members and the history of a home or property. Travis will discuss the Assessor’s Geographic Information Systems mapping system and the Personal Property Database Search site. Mary will cover the Recorder of Deeds research site, historical indexes and searching for a marriage license record. This presentation is solely for informational purposes as to the research resources of the St. Charles County Recorder of Deeds and is not intended to constitute the rendering of legal advice.This FREE program is open to the public and will be at the Recorder of Deeds Office, 201 north 2nd Street, St. Charles, MO.
